At 10:38 on March 15, Zhangbei-Xiongan 1000 kV UHV AC power transmission and transformation project line project (northern Hebei section) was piloted at 2S043# in Yuxian County, and Yangyuan 3S025 in Huai'an 2L002 and 3rd bidding sections were commenced respectively. This marks the formal start of Zhangbei-Xiongan 1000 kV UHV transmission line project in northern Hebei.

Since Zhangbei-Xiongan 1000 kV UHV AC transmission and transformation project was approved by Hebei Development and Reform Commission on November 29, 2018, State Grid Jibei Electric Power Co., Ltd. attached great importance to it and urged all participating units to make full efforts to promote the progress of the project.

The opening ceremony of each pilot section marks the formal start of the line project of Zhangbei-Xiongan 1000 kV UHV AC transmission and transformation project (northern Hebei section), and the project has entered the stage of comprehensive construction. On the same day, Zhangbei, Wanquan, Huaian, Yangyuan and Yuxian started construction in four counties, with 187 people in place and 10 foundations excavated. It is expected that 111 foundations will be built by the end of March, laying a solid foundation for the overall construction of the project.
